This year Paul 'Werzal' Holt, will captain the 'new look' Milnrow MP. He is a good home and away block and benefits from banter around the green. Will lead the club into a new era. Younger players will look to Paul for guidance and knowledge of the green. Good player
Colin Hey
Colin has been captain of most teams that have run through the club at one time or another. He has won the Merit and is regarded as one of the best blocks at the club. Nice man too.
Barclay 'Hagrid' Warrington
Barclay is one of the top players at MMP and has been for years. I mean it when I say that he will become as good as he wants to be. If he travelled to sweeps he could be a real player nationally. Good Homester and enjoys banter with Werzal and Ant and all the other lads.
Mick Rangeley
Very Good home block and great club man. He is an asset to the club and Werzal considers him the clubs best card marker!
PG Brooks
Graham is a very good player, if in the right mood! Top bloke and can definitely play a bit. Graham is also considered a good home block and is hard to beat on MMP and has been so for years.
Matt F. Hargreaves
Matt has been at MMP 12 months, starting in the Saddleworth League. He has now joined in the CLMBL. Matt was a junior county regular and plays Carpet bowls for Tonge. Good Block and keen as mustard!
Tony 'DAD' Warrington
Tony the left hander, is getting better and better. He is considered a top homester and last year provided the club with a famous win over Tim Holt!
Steve ' Flicker' Shaw
Ste came through the ranks with Matt F. Hargreaves. He was won a number of junior titles and can be a decent player. Not performed like he would want in recent years but hes moved to change that!
Ant 'The Pirate' Brierley
Ant is a good player who has been in and out of MMP for a couple of years now. He is a very steady player who can beat some real blocks. Considered another good homester and really good player in the wet!
